THE STORY

I’m the writer/director of PARTY TRICK, a surreal drama short film that follows two old friends reconnecting at a party as they’re forced to face how they’ve changed. No spoiler alerts! But I can say it’s a film about remembering and identity, with a healthy side of peer pressure.

CURRENT STATUS

It’s almost done! The film has been shot, edited, and now we’re fine-tuning the sound design. It’s nearly wrapped with a bow on it, ready to be seen at film festivals and get the acclaim it deserves. Except— we don’t have room in the budget. So far, this has been a completely self-funded passion project. With every festival submission, comes a load of fees.

That’s where you come in. We need to jump on fundraising so when our sound team is done, we’re ready to submit immediately. All funds raised will be used for festival submission fees. We have until March 7th to raise $2,000.

RESULTS

Crowdfunding is typically done before a film is even shot, with a distant promise you might see it years down the line. With your submission, we promise to get results of film festival acceptances in 2026, so you can brag about it to all your friends as soon as possible.
